4.1. Hungarian E-Vignettes
The Hungarian e-vignette system applies to motorcycles, passenger vehicles and their trailers, as well as certain goods vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, motorhomes, buses and their trailers.
Vehicles subject to the Hungarian road-use authorization system may use the relevant toll road network only when covered by a valid road-use authorization.
The price of an e-vignette depends on the vehicle category and the type of authorization purchased.
The vehicle category is determined based on the official information included in the vehicle registration certificate, including the vehicle classification, maximum permissible gross weight and number of seats.
4.2. Toll Categories
Category D1 – passenger vehicles with a maximum of 7 seats, including the driver, with a maximum permissible gross weight not exceeding 3.5 tonnes, as well as their trailers.
Category D1M – motorcycles, irrespective of engine capacity.

Category U – trailers of vehicles included in toll categories D2 and B2. The authorization is purchased using the registration number of the trailer.
All information used to determine the correct toll category must be checked against the vehicle registration certificate.

|---|---|---|
| L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e | Motorcycle | D1M |
